One Shots & Special Events

Welcome to our one shot and special events world where creativity knows no bounds, and imagination is unleashed.

Held on Saturdays, these events are designed for those between 8 and 24 years with disabilities, promising excitement, and camaraderie. Each month you can join:

  • one-shots in Minecraft and D&D providing immersive gaming experiences.
  • special events around gaming themed activities.

Through these carefully crafted events, participants come together to embark on thrilling adventures and creative experiences. As they journey through realms of fantasy and imagination, participants learn valuable skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity. From epic quests to mysterious puzzles, each event encourages collaboration, communication, and critical thinking, fostering a sense of camaraderie and personal growth.

July
Mission 1: Treasure of the Broken Hoard
A famous relic hunter seeks adventurers to help her find caches of treasure hidden by the now-defeated followers of the Cult of the Dragon. Her maps and notes may lead the way to great wealth—or a terrible death. And do other parties have designs on the treasure as well?

Mission 2: The Black Road
Caravans are having a difficult time getting through to Parnast via the Black Road. Organized attacks by orcs and other monstrous humanoids working in concert with one another have folks baffled. Your group is to accompany a caravan with a very special cargo destined for the Shrine of Axes in Parnast, and to figure out who is responsible.

Mission 3: Uninvited Guests
The Shrine of the Axes has been restored and Raggnar Redtooth, who previously conspired with dragon cultists, is trying to restore his reputation in Parnast by sponsoring a feast. There is just one thing he needs, meat for his feast. Game is supposed to be plentiful in the Weathercote Wood, but the townsfolk are all busy with their own work, and the minions of Bad Fruul are still out there causing trouble. What can go wrong on a simple hunt?

Mission 4: In Dire Need
An expedition of dwarf warriors from Citadel Adbar finds itself isolated and besieged by Ice Spire ogres and their allies. They require immediate relief or they risk being destroyed to a dwarf. Rescue the dwarves and save their precious cargo, a tablet bearing secrets of ancient rune magic.

Mission 5: A Dish Best Served Cold
Stagwick’s long-standing peace with giant-kind is threatened as a patrol of Blood Riders spark a feud with a local tribe of giants. With word of strange activity coming from the Ice Spires, Good King Hartwick can’t be too careful. Can you quench the giants’ thirst for revenge?

Mission 6: Beneath the Fetid Chelimber
The ruined wizard tower in the Marsh of Chelimber may hold a clue to defeating the superintelligent hill giant, Bad Fruul, and prevent him troubling the town of Parnast. Overcome the watery magic of the fetid marsh and discover or clear a route to the ruins of a previously lost tower.
July Spleef Tournament Players compete to break blocks from beneath their opponents, causing them to fall into a pit of lava or water below. Last player standing wins.
August Parkour Challenge Players design a challenging parkour course with obstacles, jumps, and traps. Set a timer and see who can complete it in the fastest time.
September Finding Diamonds Players compete to find the most diamonds. Set a timer and see who can find the most to win.
October Mob Arena Players face waves of increasingly difficult mobs in an arena. Team up or go solo to see how long you can survive.
November Ender Dragon Challenge Prepare to face the mighty Ender Dragon. Work as a team to prepare for a fierce showdown
December Holiday Village Decoration Contest Players claim a plot and transform into a festive holiday village. In game rewards for creativity, detail, and adherence to the theme.

Learn cool tips and tricks on how to design and make your own costumes. We’ll have fun crafts and activities to help you get creative.

All other ages

Design a costume while learning about sewing techniques, prop-making, and character analysis to bring your costumes to life. We’ll have craft stations guidance to help you get creative.

Strut your stuff on our cosplay runway and show off your awesome costume creation.

Costume Con

All other ages

Join us for a mini convention where you can showcase your cosplay costume and share tips and tricks on costume design and character portrayal.

October Hero Training Academy

Children: 8-12

Dive into the world of tabletop RPGs and learn how to create your own character and act out exciting adventures!

Games Master Workshop

All other ages

Listen to experienced game masters who will share their tips and tricks for running tabletop RPGs. Ask questions and try your hand at running short scenarios.

November Wizard’s Workshop

Children: 8-12

Use our crafting stations to make wizard wands, spellbooks, and potions and then join in a magical talent show where you can showcase your creation.

Dice Carnival

All other ages

Move between stations for dice painting, Jenga stacking competitions, and making unique dice sets with recycled plastic that you can take home.

Join us for an end-of-year party with snacks, music, and a special tabletop RPG mini adventure to end the year in style

For one shots, you’ll need to bring yourself, headsets, and a device to connect to our Discord community.

For special events you’ll need to bring yourself. We can’t have a party without you.
